12" BB112 2-way Speaker

We have been making this 12" Beta Speakers for over 30 years and the reason they are so popular is that you can hear every note. The bass mid and tops are all present in the correct balance.

This 12" speaker delivers the clarity demanded by live music or playback

Offering incredible long throw and short-throw performance, BishopSound Beta 12"s deliver the stunning British sound quality and clarity throughout the venue.

We use our purpose-made BDP12 cast alloy main driver with its British Paper Cone and our BRC175 Titanium domed HF unit.

The 12" cabinet with numerous flying points is constructed using our own specification Danish MDF for the perfect balance of tone and weight. The paint finish is a super tough 4 coat PU paint finish and thick metal grill to protect the speaker.

18" BD118S SubWoofer

Each passive 18" subwoofer with its Birch Plywood cabinet delivers 1000w RMS (4000w Peak) at 8 Ohm and goes down to 37 Hz - with 134dB 1w-1m. We make the cast alloy 1kw driver so we control the performance of this subwoofer to perfection!

The Delta 18″ Subwoofer we believe provides the tightest and most defined bass frequency response available in the UK today. We make the box and the driver and the driver is the BDP18, probably the most reliable 18" cast alloy driver in the UK today with over 5000 pieces sold and only 6 have come back for a re-cone.

The cabinet is finished in 4 coats of Heavy Duty black splatter PU paint it will withstand all the knocks and scrapes gathered through touring. The box has been tuned to perfection after 30 years of manufacture and it sounds as punchy and stomach punchy today as it ever did! No crossover is fitted in the box as all users should use a speaker management processor.

The 18" BishopSound BD118s contains our famously reliable BDP18 cast alloy driver with its British paper cone which is capable of accepting even more than 1,000w from an amplifier if treated with respect.

Outside PA systems or indoor band or DJ systems need plenty of power to move the audience, active speakers do not touch the sound quality of this system. The perfect sound system for small festivals the combined sound from the 18" subwoofer with the single 12" on its professional screw in pole is truly stunning.

The combination of the 12" and the 18" is perfect and often used in cinema applications where the voice sound clarity really matters.

Acoustic foam behind all the grills prevents dust and moisture ingression.

The tone is British and designed for our music. Watch your customers come in off the streets, sit up with jaws dropped whilst listening to our amazing clarity of tone and punchy bass. No frequency is overlooked especially the mid-range! We are British!

Finally, the very secure professional screw in pole delivers a solid mounting which will not wobble or rattle and stand perfectly upright ready to withstand anything.

This system delivers that signature 12" clarity that is used in many line arrays and that tight punchy deep bass that is the essence of Bishopsound.

Driving them with full frequencies will cause permanent damage, so they should only be operated with a passive low-pass filter, a crossover network, or an active electronic crossover or speaker management system.
