Delta Dual 12" Active Powered Subwoofer 1000w RMS
Heavy as Bass cabs should be, bought for occasional use should be a good addition to other speakers I purchased from the range.
At 1,000w RMS with deep delivery of 30Hz and with a maximum SPL of 138 dB, this plywood beast of a subwoofer will give you more than enough sound for live gigs, pubs and clubs.
Outperforms the Pyrit 212 on bass response and volume.
Professional, tough, roadie proof, durable, well made and great sounding subwoofers that match the quality of this subwoofer did not exist until today.

Received the sub within a few days of ordering from Bishopsound. When took out of the box, could hear something moving around in sub. Phoned up and spoke to Andrew Bishop, he advised having a quick look inside the unit. Unfortunately I couldn’t find anything. What ever it is, it is still there, but I am not bothered as long as it works. Took out the sub on its first outing to a community hall, about 50 people. Everything was set up. Tested the sound adjusted levels. Within a few minutes the power cut off. There was a sound limiter in the hall.
So unfortunately we couldn’t give a proper test on the sub. It ran for about 3 hours at low volume filling in the low end. It sounds good from what we can hear. I will give a detailed review later on. Bishopsound are very nice to deal with, so go on give them try, and the best thing is there life time warranty.
Bought this to add some low end, and also take the pressure of 10 inch tops.
The unit arrived with in a few days of ordering. When opened up found there was something rattling inside like small object. Phoned up and spoke to Andrew who advised take out one of the speakers and investigate. Couldn’t find what was moving around in there. I wasn’t to bothered as long it worked ok. Took it out on it’s first outing. Got everything set up, set the crossover frequency to 135 to 140. It sounded good in a venue for about 50 to 70 people. But suddenly the power had gone, there was sound limiter in the venue. So unfortunately we couldn’t play at decent volume. Volume was under half way on the subwoofer. This was being used at the time for djing. Low end could be heard at low volume levels. Hopefully in the coming months I will be able to give a detailed review. In the meantime check out Bishopsound talk to them and purchase your pa equipment. They are are very nice people to deal with and also lifetime warranty.
Bought this to integrate into our small theatre's sound system. Our flown Nexo system was doing great but lacked low end capacity when really pushed so we installed this powered sub under our stage.
We tuned the system and found the ideal crossover point for the room (good to have that facility on the actual sub) and just sent the required frequencies, via a sub-mix, to the sub so we could dial in what we needed depending on the content.
What we found was that everything sounded better - YES, EVERYTHING... From vocals to classical/orchestral to rock & roll.
We hadn't realised just how much was missing from our audio spectrum in the room.
All solved by an efficient, small footprint box under the stage.
We love it and would happily recommend.
