The 38mm voice coil and 30 Ounce magnet with our British paper cone truly make all the difference to the sound quality.

Our Classic 8″ PA speakers can be used in a range of wood and plastic cabinets. Customers are rating this as FIVE STAR with comments like "Excellent Quality".

Bishopsound woofers are high-quality PA speakers. They are made from professional grade materials the Classic Series features pressed steel baskets, Kapton coils, ferrite magnets, paper cones from ENGLAND with rolled cloth edges and push terminals.

These 8″ speakers are ideal for vocal PA, keyboards, club systems, and stage monitors. 

Please note there is a printing error on the label of some drivers. This driver is 150w RMS, not 100w RMS, therefore, Program Power is 300w and 600w peak.

8” drivers

Only one of the pair sent out initially but problem rectified very quickly with personal communication from Victoria at the company. The units sound good as replacements for the original Yamaha driver in a Stagepas 300 PA system, especially at the price. Happy customer who would buy again from BishopSound.

I bought the 8” speaker to put in a horn for the dedicated highs using an active crossover . Playing 78 rpm records can be a hit and miss affair with any modern speaker but these are just old school a different listening experience with the paper cone and big voice coil for an 8” speaker. Absolutely superb quality and a total pleasurable listening experience. Well done.
