    What can I say!!

First off I knew I was going to get a good driver for the money as I have had a pair of the 400w 12" drivers that I have driven pretty hard at gigs which sound great and seem bullet proof so I knew what I was getting into.

As for this 18" monster before buying I didn't have a budget and could of easily spent more on a well known brand. However I kept coming back to bishop after the specs and more importantly the build of the driver.

First off the build - solid and stylish basket, rigid and solid cone, 4" voice coil, push terminals, solid and treated cables from terminals to cone, a good amount of venting, large magnet.

Performance - pushed pretty hard at home ( poor neighbors ) and left playing all day at a moderate level it is clear this thing means business and it actually went lower in the cabinet than the original driver I took out. I didn't go in blind however and looked at the specs and knew it would be pretty well suited for the cabinet.

As for the specs I believe them to be pretty close ( maybe not quite 99db sensitivity but pretty dam close ), wattage no doubt about it!!

It was however heavier than stated but no issues with that. I have noticed a lot of companies with similar specs with identical baskets and cones but with other parts that are actually inferior to the bishop. The "B&C 18TBX100" comes to mind and cost quite a bit more.

And last but not least the customer service from Andrew and Victoria is second to none and always happy to help. I…
