Speaker Management Systems

Speaker management systems provide essential processing between the mixer and the amplifiers to protect and get the very best out of your passive speakers. The speaker management processor typically controls the crossover point, phase, gain, equalisation, delay and limiters to stop your loudspeakers being over driven. PA system processors typically offer 2 input and 4 outputs.

Two outputs go to the amplifier driving the subwoofers and may cut off at <105 Hz and the other two outputs go to the amplifier driving the mid-tops and get >105 Hz. The speaker management processor can be tuned by the user to deliver precisely what their PA speakers are designed to reproduce thereby ensuring the maximum clarity, efficiency, protection and perfect sound reproduction.
